- Кран состоит из консоли (стрелы), колонны, тали электрической либо ручной
- Поворот стрелы ручных кранов осуществляется посредством оттяжки, подъем, опускание груза либо вручную либо при помощи электрической передвижной тали и пульта управления
- Механизмом подъема и перемещения груза является тельфер (таль), который передвигается вдоль стрелы крана

Основным рабочим элементом крана консольного с ручным приводом выступает вращающаяся консоль, которая установлена на колонне и оснащена талью, выполняющей роль грузоподъемного механизма. Колонна монтируется на усиленный фундамент и дополнительно закрепляется химическими или металлическими анкерными болтами. Угол вращения консоли составляет 270 градусов за счет установки жестких упор – ограничителей угла поворота консоли. Ручной консольный кран на колонне с поворотом стрелы до 270 градусов ККР2 способен перекрывать практически всю площадь цеха или склада, перемещая грузы, в том числе и в самые труднодоступные места. Длина вылета стрелы, высота подъема и грузоподъемность определяются на этапе разработки рабочего проекта перед изготовлением данного грузоподъемного устройства.
