Traverses-spreaders are a type of cargo-handling devices used for lifting and moving a wide variety of large-sized cargo. Devices of this type are used when working with loads, the transportation of which requires fastening for four points. As a rule, containers, motor vehicles, industrial equipment with 4 technological holes or fittings (power plants, welding machines, etc.) are moved in this way.

Traverses-spreaders have a special design, thanks to which the lifted load is not deformed by the pressure of the slings with the correct calculation of the dimensions of the equipment.

According to the method of slinging, there are traverses with a rise for the central element and with a rise for the edges.

Depending on the type of cargo being moved, the traverse with a lift behind the center can be equipped with different end elements. This type of attachments is used with lifting height restrictions. Traverses-spreaders with lifting by the edges are characterized by a relatively small mass. The cargo is attached to the traverse hooks by means of a four-branch sling. The mechanism can be equipped with upper and lower end elements of different types.

The collapsible traverse-spreader is very convenient. The assembly of the structure is simple, it is performed using bolts and nuts that are included in the delivery package. Depending on the type of cargo being moved, it is allowed to use end elements of different types.
